At Rechberg 1837, we don’t run a business — we live a conviction.

Our cuisine is free from industrial influence and full of authenticity. We work with heirloom crops grown regeneratively, refined through time-honored techniques. Nothing new — only rediscovered, forgotten flavors.

With passion, we immerse ourselves in Swiss nature and transform its diversity into surprising dishes. Everything comes from local, sustainable farming by Zurich producers, in harmony with nature's rhythms.

Our philosophy lives on in the glass as well: Swiss wines from nature-loving family wineries – perfectly matched to every dish.

We’re not perfect — but we love what we do.

Come to explore. Or simply, come to savor.

Our Team

Rechberg is a place for connection and experience — open to everyone, whether you’re curious about what we do or simply want to enjoy a good meal.

The moments that unfold here are shaped by the people who create them: people who live with passion and love everything we stand for.

Founding Story

Rechberg was founded in 2016 by Raphael and Alexander Guggenbühl, Carlos Navarro, and Celine Horst — with the vision of combining sustainability and social responsibility with economic independence.

We collaborate with like-minded, local partners who share our values. Farmers, winemakers  — passionate people who love what they do — all within Switzerland.
