Kunst&Kulinarik: Niculin Janett Quartett feat. Rich Perry
Kunst&Kulinarik: Niculin Janett Quartett feat. Rich Perry
For more than ten years, Niculin Janett and renowned New York tenor saxophonist Rich Perry have been musically connected. Out of this long-standing collaboration has grown a quartet that impresses not only with technical mastery but also with an extraordinary sense of intuitive interplay. Janett, shaped by his time in Zurich and New York, combines precise composition with a subtle feel for atmosphere and irony. Rich Perry, a long-time member of the Vanguard Jazz Orchestra and an in-demand soloist, contributes his deep roots in the American jazz tradition – relaxed, tasteful, and full of warmth.
With Toxicology Report, the band’s fourth album, they join forces with the versatile bassist Lisa Hoppe and the sensitive drummer Philipp Leibundgut to show how four independent voices can merge into a living organism. Their music is dense yet open, humorous and infused with the understanding that change and contradiction deserve just as much space as beauty and lightness.
The concert takes place in the intimate setting of Restaurant Rechberg 1837. Before the music, the kitchen will serve a four-course menu specially created for the evening. As seating is limited, reservations with the concert menu will be given priority. Concert-only tickets may be released at short notice, depending on availability.

Kunst&Kulinarik: Nils Wograms Nostalgia
Kunst&Kulinarik: Nils Wograms Nostalgia
With Nils Wogram’s Nostalgia, jazz tradition meets an uncompromising present. Together with Arno Krijger and Dejan Terzić, Wogram creates a new, organic sound built on their broad musical language. Their new album The Walk is inspired by long walks, where walking itself becomes a musical principle: a transformation from external rhythm to inner flow. The music unfolds like steps along a path that is never planned, but rather felt.

WALD. Ein Abend voller Sinnlichkeit & Verbindungen
WALD. Ein Abend voller Sinnlichkeit & Verbindungen
WALD. is not a performance, not a banquet, not an exhibition – but a shared movement through perceptions, atmospheres, and connections. We follow the rhythms of voices, fungi, resins, the breath of trees. We do not seek a single story of the forest, but attune ourselves to its many voices, its endless intertwinings.
Together with light artist Anna Kubelík, Rechberg 1837 invites you to an evening that is more than a menu, more than an exhibition, more than a concert. WALD. is a journey through atmospheres, voices, and textures – an invitation to inscribe yourself into the connections that surround and sustain us. Visuals and culinary creations are accompanied by a soundscape designed by Oliver Schmid (Sound) and Tarik Goetzke (Audio).
The spaces of the Musée Visionaire transform into threshold realms. Step by step, an evening unfolds that does not narrate but makes perceptible: the whisper of spruce trees in the morning dew, the traces of beetles and bees, the hand of the forest owner, the mysterious breath of the matsutake, the underground web of mycelium. Projections, sounds, and culinary gestures intertwine into a slow choreography of the senses – immersing us in the question: Which perspective will you take?

Trio Lusinea – Romantic Women
Trio Lusinea – Romantic Women
ChatGPT:
The trio Lusinea brings together flute, bassoon, and harp in a rare and richly colored combination. Their music becomes a stage for intimate moments, shimmering tonal nuances, and refined dialogues. In their current program, the ensemble is devoted to romantic works composed exclusively by women. At the heart of the program are Marguerite Roesgen-Champion and Mel Bonis – two composers with a close connection to Switzerland.
The impressionistically tinged Suite by Marguerite Roesgen-Champion, a native of Geneva, was rediscovered by Valeria Curti in a Geneva archive — a poetic work that the trio has since recorded for the first time. The music of Mel Bonis also unfolds its full expressive power in this instrumentation: rich in emotion, refined in harmony, and charged with inner drama. Her life resembled a soap opera — a story full of secrets, hidden emotions, and societal constraints that resonate in the intensity of her music.
The program is complemented by works by Florence Price, the first African American woman composer to gain national recognition in the United States. Her compositions combine classical forms with spirituals, rhythmic vitality, and soulful depth.
In Trio Lusinea, three outstanding musicians come together — united by curiosity, precision, and a passion for storytelling through sound. Valeria Curti, principal bassoonist of the Musikkollegium Winterthur and lecturer at the Bern University of the Arts, combines technical sophistication with stylistic depth and brings forgotten works to light through her research. Annina Rusch, a versatile flutist and dedicated music educator, enriches the ensemble with her clear, lyrical tone and refined sense for color and atmosphere. Isabel Goller, an award-winning harpist from South Tyrol, moves effortlessly between opera, chamber music, and meditative sound worlds.
The concert takes place in the cozy setting of the Rechberg 1837 restaurant. Before the musical part, the kitchen serves a four-course menu specially curated for the evening. As seating is limited, reservations with the concert menu will be given priority. Tickets for the concert without dinner will only be released shortly before the event, depending on availability.
